Fuller Sotheby’s Beaver Creek Operations Expand into Edwards

VAIL VALLEY, CO – Fuller Sotheby’s International Realty (FSIR) - a leader in the sale and purchase of luxury residences throughout Colorado – announced today the opening of a second real estate office in Edwards, CO located at 34253 Highway 6, Suite 2A, in addition to its current Beaver Creek office at 26 Avondale Lane, Suite 119 Beaver Creek, CO.
In 2012, FSIR retained the greatest market share of luxury home sales in the Denver metro. FSIR saw record-breaking surplus in 2012, with total sales volume spiking to $1,263,365,071 - an astounding benchmark for the firm and 17% increase from 2011.
FSIR’s widely successful Denver metro operations are attributed in part to attracting the highest quality agents from around the country, as well as maintaining an exceptional, full-service, in-house marketing department and unparalleled support staff. Building upon this momentum, FSIR’s bold move into the Beaver Creek/Vail real estate market demonstrates an even greater level of commitment to the Vail Valley.

Fitchett, a high-profile CEO responsible for commercial development operations throughout Colorado, as well as a forty-plus year track record of owning, operating, and servicing residential real estate brokerages throughout Vail, Denver, and Crested Butte, will oversee the venture.

Most recently, Fitchett served as CEO of the Club at Cordillera consisting of three championship golf courses. During his tenure, he took on the role of debtor representative in the Chapter 11 reorganization of Cordillera, which was successfully complete by the end of 2012. The club engaged the professional management of Troon Golf LLC – the largest third party golf management company in the world. In combination with Troon Golf, the club now has well over 300 members going into the 2013 golf season.
Other noteworthy positions held by Fitchett include past President of Denver Athletic Club, operating partner at Lincoln Property Company of Denver, and Vice President of the Vail Associates (now Vail Resorts) Real Estate division, where he directed corporate real estate including the activities of 40 realtors in six offices. Prior to this time, Fitchett developed the well-known Elkhorn Lodge in Beaver Creek - a ski in/ski out luxury condominium project.
